Community Supper: Since 2010 members of the congregation come together on the third Wednesday of every month during the church year to provide affordable/free meal to members of the greater Milford community.  Find out more here

Climate Fridays: Inspired by Greta Thunberg, UUCM hosted a Milford-area Climate Strike on September 20th to participate in the Global Climate Strike. Since then, members are participating weekly in climate awareness actions in front of the church

Ferry Beach:  We start the church calendar year  with a retreat to the Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference Center in Saco, Maine.  This is a wonderful time of reconnecting after the summer.   We relax, swim in the ocean, meditate, do yoga, play games build sand castles, have a talent show, sing around a campfire, share meals and a service in the grove at Ferry Beach.

Harvest Pantry:  On the Saturday of the Milford Pumpkin Festival we hold our “Harvest Pantry”.  Cakes, pies, cookies, cider and other fall treats are sold in front of the church during the festival.

November

Fall Cleanup:  We gather on a Saturday in early November to clean up our building and grounds and prepare the gardens for their winter sleep.

Holiday Fair:  On the weekend after Thanksgiving we hold our annual Holiday Fair.  This is our largest fundraiser for the congregation and brings most of our congregational community together to offer crafts, baked goods and gently used items for sale as well as and lunch in our holiday cafe.

Annual Goods and Services Auction:  We gather for an evening of food, fun and financial support.

Spring Fling – Yard Sale & Plant Sale:  A chance to help each of us with spring cleaning and to support our congregation at the same time.

Spring Clean-up: We again gather to spruce up our grounds and building as we welcome spring.

June

Annual Meeting:  We meet as a congregation in early June as required by our bylaws to elect congregational leadership, approve the budget for the upcoming year and to discuss matters of importance to the congregation as a whole.
